ESA is currently developing an in-depth analysis of the multimedia market to improve its strategic vision and evaluate development priorities for the future. The activity pinpoints which applications could be advantageously delivered via satellite within the context of the broader multimedia industry.
An extensive programme of interviews is carried out to define a clear and comprehensive structure of the market and assess the potential of new applications. The market success factors identified will determine the actions needed to foster multimedia services take-up.
