Final Reports for Alphasat TDP Phase-A now available

The eight TDP Executive Final reports were delivered to ESA during a four-day series of presentations. TDPs are 'piggy-back', non-operational payloads and were proposed to fly on board Alphasat, in combination with any of three other Main Missions (see below). The feasibility studies of these TDPs were carried out by Tesat, Jena Optronik, both of Germany, Contraves from Switzerland, EADS Astrium and Alcatel Alenia Space from France, Qinetiq of the United Kingdom, Space Engineering of Italy and Bradford Engineering from the Netherlands.

The TDP presentations were preceded by three feasibility studies from EADS Astrium, Inmarsat, Eutelsat, Alcatel Alenia Space and Telespazio covering the activities required to complete the Main Mission feasibility study phase.
