These updates are part of the continuous efforts of the telecom.esa.int team to ensure the website delivers the information you are looking for quickly and efficiently.
The new Events section, located in the left hand menu under About TIA, is where you will now find presentations from past events quickly and efficiently. This section is divided into two areas; “Future Events” and “Past Events”. The Future events section lists the TIA Directorate’s upcoming workshops, seminars, final presentations and other events. You will immediately see whether the event is open to Member States and Canada or if attendance to the event is by invitation only. If you click on the title of the future event, you will find more information on how and where to register for the event, as well as a copy of the event’s agenda if applicable.
The Past Events section lists events that you may have attended or, due to a conflicting schedule, you were unable to take part in. Here you will find a link to the presentations given at these events. Past events are organized by most recent. To be able to download some of the presentations you may have to log in with your ESA Telecom password. To view the new events section click here.
The second feature is a dedicated RSS feed link to receive TIA Directorate news and events via the RSS feed options included with your computer’s browser or using an online news reader. RSS feeds work with Internet Explorer version 7 or later, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. If you click on the link and you are running a compatible browser, you will begin receiving TIA news and events as the items are uploaded. This RSS feed differs from other ESA feeds as this feed is dedicated specifically to the TIA for Business website – telecom.esa.int. Start your RSS feed by clicking here. Spend some time on telecom.esa.int to see these features in closer detail.
