The Satellite Connectivity and Navigation: Systems, Services and Market course, held in collaboration with the University of Oxford, investigates the technical, financial and business aspects of satellite communications, linking market requirements to technical capabilities while considering the crucial aspects of costs and financing. The course has been developed by specialists under the lead of the Connectivity and Secure Communications, in conjunction with leading industry experts. It is supported by Thales Alenia Space.
The objectives of the course are to provide a complete overview of the world of satellite communications and across the following areas: satcom systems architecture, characteristics and performance; markets and business aspects; commercial potential and evaluating opportunities; satellite navigation systems and services.
The target audience is graduates and young professionals with an engineering and/or financial background and senior professionals wishing to expand their background towards satellite communication systems and services.
