ESA Telecom offers the Start-up Initiative as an open door for business innovation especially aimed at supporting a number of small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s) through the early development stages of researching and refining a business proposition. The workshop will include presentations from companies that have completed or have almost completed their projects in Rounds 1 and 2 of the Start-up Initiative.
The invitation only workshop will be held at ESA/ESTEC in Noordwijk the Netherlands on 22 March beginning at 13:30 and concluding on 23 March 2004 at 17:00. Included in the agenda, in the evening of 22 March, is a Dinner Buffet to give participants the opportunity to further exchange opinions and generate lively discussions between companies.

The workshop will also provide a communication platform for potential partnerships by bringing together different areas of technology in applications and services. Feedback will also be given to ESA Telecom for improvements that can be made to the Start-up Initiative process.
