The Spanish company, Tecnolog as de Telecomunicaciones y de la Informaci n (TTI), has specialised in satellite terminals tailored for specific customers. Founded in 1996, TTI has worked with ESA on a range of activities including the development of a low-cost user terminal for the proposed Teledesic system back in 1999. This experience has led to TTI becoming a subcontractor on the prototype user terminal to be used for Alenia's forthcoming EuroSkyWay multimedia satellite system.
