Next step is to start field testing in our target markets in order to ensure that the product is compatible with all country specific transmissions and other standards and regulations. First mass production will happen in December and the planned launch to the distributors and end-user is now in January 2008. The target price to end-users will be 700 Euro including VAT.

The LyngBox project strategic objectives has been met in most cases, especially when it comes to our strategic planning objectives and ensuring that this project enables LyngBox Media to become a recognised player in the field of high-end STB. Our integration of web-services from LyngSat Network is unique in the business and will keep our product ahead of competing offering.

The ESA project has also enabled LyngBox Media to attract an external investor that has secured our long term success of the company.

The LyngBox commercial opportunities are now dependent on a successful launch and marketing of the product. LyngSat Network will be used extensively to make the product known in the trade and a number of key distributors have already been signed up to sell the product in the different markets in Europe. LyngBox Media plans to offer the product platform to operators and enterprises in need of a product that can offer the combination of satellite, terrestrial and IP services.
