Overall Project objectives are:
- Successful integration of MF-TDMA broadband Access Network and DVB-S2 SCPC Network integration into one platform
- Optimum usage of satellite bandwidth usage
- Flexible multimedia exchange and archiving functionality
- The addition of several value added services such as VoIP and VPN
- Central management and monitoring of the system
- HD live stream and archiving capabilities
- Support for services on satellite and terrestrial networks
- Development of several terminal types to access the network
- Support for next-gen Newtec devices
- Single Hop, low latency, interoperable live streams
- Modular components which can be used either standalone or as part of a larger system

The MENOS and MS-BC (Multi Service – Broadcast) systems and its integrated functionalities provide a Unique positioning in the broadcast market place.
MENOS won the IBC judges award and the innovation award for content delivery. Also the most innovative project of the year in 2010 was awarded to MENOS.

The MENOS Evolution project reaps the commercial rewards of all earlier work. This MENOS Evolution project – Slice 4, following the also implemented Slice 1, 2 & 3 is the next step in continuously improving the product while answering the needs of growth and evolving and demanding markets:
