16 November 2015 – Using GNSS for positioning and station keeping is an important breakthrough in geostationary satellite technology. ESA has been supporting this development by means of a number of activities undertaken within the framework of the ARTES programme.
11 November 2015 – With the support the ARTES programme, Skyware developed a versatile Ka-band VSAT transceiver that is now in production and enjoying strong sales, thanks to the growing number of high-throughput Ka-band satellites coming into service.

TIA-T organised its yearly dedicated forum for giving Industry the opportunity to disseminate the successful results of the activities that have been completed under the ARTES Programme.
6 November 2015 – The first three products supported by the Atlas extension to the ARTES 3-4 programme have entered into service on Eutelsat's 8 West B satellite, which was launched 20 August. The launch of these first units represents a major milestone for Atlas, which was initiated in 2013 to support first flight opportunities for new space technologies.
2 November 2015 – The payload of Eutelsat 8 West B satellite, launched on 20 August, included advanced interference-mitigation capabilities developed by Thales Alenia Space with the support of ESA through the ARTES programme.
27 October 2015 – At sea, space technology is used to help save lives every day: managing traffic between ships, picking up migrants and refugees in distress or spotting oil spills. Throught the ARTES programme, ESA is at the forefront developing new technologies and satellites to keep us safe at sea.
16 October 2015 – With the support of ESA through the ARTES programme, Munich-based HPS has developed a highly portable Ku-band antenna with emergency situtations and disaster relief in mind.
2 October 2015 – Satellite monitoring of wildlife has become a critical tool for environmental research purposes. Through the ARTES programme, ESA has been supporting the development and testing of a new low-cost wildlife tag that uses satcoms technology.
30 September 2015 – Two ARTES-supported studies of ESA's Vega rocket provide the telecommunications satellite industry with a strategic roadmap for future developments in the highly competetive global launcher market.
15 September 2015 – ESA and Thales Alenia Space have signed a contract for the full development and qualification of a new line of satellite platforms called Spacebus Neo. The agreement marks the next phase of the ARTES 14 Neosat programme.
