Flexible payloads key for satcom industry

25 July 2015 – Two new products developed by Space Engineering Group (Italy) with support from ARTES will be incorporated in Eutelsat Quantum, a new ESA-supported Public Private Partnership that will develop a new satellite platform entirely configurable in software.

The signature for Quantum is signed at the flag-raising ceremony of ESA's European Centre for Space Applications and Telecommunications (ECSAT) in the UK on 9 July 2015. The contracts were signed by Magali Vaissiere, ESA Director of Telecom, Nick Daly, MD of Eutelsat UK and Colin Paynter, MD of Airbus Defence and Space UK. ESA announces Indigo PPP with Intelsat
