Maker Space kicks off in Dublin

High Altitude Pseudo Satellites (HAPS) are stratospheric platforms that stay over a fixed point on Earth from weeks to months. Capitalising on these developments, the European Space Agency is reaching out to the Telecommunication, Earth Observation and Navigation communities to present and discuss synergies between satellites and HAPS as well as to collect feedback and recommendations regarding a potential ESA HAPS programme.

Winners of the ESA Female YGT Space Applications competition 2017

On 10 February 2017, the winners of first ESA Female Young Graduate Trainee (YGT) competition, organised by TIA, were presented at the annual TIA Seminar. The participants were asked to propose an innovative satellite-based Application that would be sustained by collaborative economic models, which would involve the European industry.
